Thanks for your efforts!

Thanks for setting up the Stats site. I like. Also I commend you for lowering the bar to allow teams that are not ranked in the top 2000th percentile.

keep up the efforts, and thanks again, ken

You seem to value function over fancy, and I appreciate that you don't try to post ads anywhere. The graphs are especially dense and clear, which is a tricky thing to do.

I think you very much read my mind. If someday i have ads they will be not intrusive.

1) If it's not too much work for you, please stick a graph of team points versus adjacent team points over time on the main teampage. I do like how team rank is tabled out in 24hs, 7 days, and 30 days on the team comparison page, but a graph would be extra sweet, especially since team rank over time isn't displayed on the team mainpage.

Isn't this what you are looking for?: http://fahstats.com/tr.php?t=34691

2) Since you already can dynamically generate images, why not generate images displaying a user's points, team name, etc? Too much work for your server? The EOC guy has done this already.

I can't find the time to do it. I have other planned features that i give higher priority.

Thank you for the time spent in a well written post.

The ability to change the date range and number of "competitors" that show up would be cool.

Thank you. I will consider it.

I love this place!  You've done what I wish I could do.
I was wondering how much work it would be to adapt some of your logic to a similar purpose.  A few buddies and I are involved with (participate in, not administrate) a site that keeps running totals of votes for favorite TV shows.  One of the guys sends us some basic stats daily & I asked him how it is generated.  He floored me when he said he pounds it all out with a calculator every day.  Although I dabbled a bit trying to see what I could do with Excel & a macro or two, this type of thing doesn't seem to be my calling  :(.

...then I remembered Kakao Stats & started thinking "If Only..."   Then, after I stopped thinking so selfishly about my needs, I started thinking about other more benevolent uses for your creation.  After all, this would work for any team based point competition:  Girl Scout Cookie sales, Fund raising competitions of all types.  Walk-a-thon miles etc...  It fits perfectly!  I doubt that you have not thought of this (have you?)

So, do you have any other sites, or is there any way that I might be able to gain access to the logic you use to keep simple F@H-like stats on my team competition data?  It's not totally without merit.  Our team is trying to get the TV show "Surface" into the top 20 list just to be able to point out to the networks that good family shows are viable.  (Surface had 10 million viewers for the season finale, but it was canceled anyway.)

Here is a link just to show you the small amount of data we will be working with...  http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html
(you can vote for Surface while you're there LOL)  Anyway, I've been wearing my fingers down doing searches for this type of software.  Please let me know if you can help.

...and THANKS for the time you've taken to produce the best F@H site yet!

I didn't. I will think about. If i were to do it i would not use the KakaoStats engine as i would only do that kind of thing for money and KakaoStats is a money looser. It needs heavy labor investment and two servers to run.

So, do you have any other sites, or is there any way that I might be able to gain access to the logic you use to keep simple F@H-like stats on my team competition data?

I have no other stats site. Unfortunately KakaoStats is not (was not designed to be) like a shelf product. It is very hard to install and maintain. It takes a real programmer with large experience in web programming and also in serious database design. I have invested perhaps more than one thousand hours since the first version more than four years ago. I guess your site needs something much simpler.

I've been wearing my fingers down doing searches for this type of software.  Please let me know if you can help.

As i said above, i will consider if there is money to be cashed from it.

I'm very happy you like it and thanks for posting.
