Update Timer for 15:00 hrs

Hello Folks,

First of all, many thanks for all the valuable work that KakaoStats provides!
It has been instrumental in being able to record and check our team's stats
since we started less than 16 weeks ago.

So, a little heads-up - I believe the timer for the 15:00hrs stats update may
be still be set to record the 16:00hrs stats, making it a tad difficult to
correlate scores and positions at the new 15:00hrs checkpoint...

Could you explain it a bit more? Is the timer the countdown clock at the top? Like this:

It is Ok for me. Is your machine time correctly adjusted? Did your region changed day light saving time recently?

What is "new" in the 15:00 hrs checkpoint?

I want to understand so I can fix it.

At say 2:30pm GMT, the next update timer shows over 90mins to the next update,
where it should be around 30 or so minutes. Everything was fine until yesterday,
when your checkpoint times were all brought forward by an hour.

With Stanford now having updated their stats server so they are updated hourly,
the results shown as being the 15:00hrs update are now the actual figures for
16:00hrs. I used to use the 13:00hrs update, but now that has been brought
forward to 12:00hrs. You seem to have adjusted that time, but not the 15:00hrs
timer.

The timer tries to estimate when the processing will be finished. Processing takes about 50 minutes. So the 3:00 GMT data will be available at about 3:50 with a 10 minutes variation.

Stanford changed the data publishing time. It was brought forward about 45 minutes. I guess they could have sent me a PM.

takes about 50 minutes. So the 3:00 GMT data will be available at about
3:50 with a 10 minutes variation.

Vijay's blog claims that stats now only take around 5 mins to process
with the new stats servers, also he says...

Moreover, we have now set the third party stats to update once an hour
(instead of once every 3 hours).  It's set to update 10 minutes before the
hour, every hour, so checking on the hour should be safe.

From that, I would guess that it would be OK to bring your timer forward
by another 40 mins, so the 15:00 stats show at 15:10UTC

What takes 50 minutes to process is KakaoStats not Stanford's.

Moreover, we have now set the third party stats to update once an hour
(instead of once every 3 hours).  It's set to update 10 minutes before the
hour, every hour, so checking on the hour should be safe.

From that, I would guess that it would be OK to bring your timer forward
by another 40 mins, so the 15:00 stats show at 15:10UTC

KakaoStats is now set to download at the exact hour so it will be finished about 50 minutes later.
